UK: Government Publishes Notice on Personal Data Flows in No-Deal Brexit Scenario

On September 13, 2018, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport released a notice on actions that UK businesses and organisations would have to undertake so as to continue the unhindered flow of personal data in and out of the UK in case of a hard Brexit, i.e. in case no agreement is reached between the UK and the EU by March 2019.

The notice follows a series of guidelines and notices issued by the government on this topic. It is is non-binding, as it is meant for guidance only.
