UK: FCA Releases Business Plan 2019/2020

On April 17, 2019, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) published its business plan for 2019/2020, which sets out its main areas of focus for the upcoming year, outlines its priorities and the actions it intends to take as a response to key issues identified.

The aim of the report is to help both consumers and industry participants better understand the FCA’s work and what they should expect with regard to planned activities in the upcoming period.

In the business plan, the FCA confirms that it will continue working towards elimination of Brexit uncertainty and a smooth transition post-Brexit by strengthening its international relationship with respective regulatory bodies.
