New York: Department of Financial Services Announces Final BitLicense Framework

The Department of Financial Services has published the final BitLicense of New York codes, rules and regulation, which is the product of a nearly two-year-long inquiry.

Benjamin M. Lawsky, superintendent of financial services, announced the release of the New York State Department of Financial Services’ (NYDFS) final regulation, which contains key consumer protection, anti-money laundering compliance and cybersecurity rules tailored for digital currency companies.
