Financial Stability Board Launches Online Survey on Financial Industry Management of Cyber-Attack Practices

On July 11, 2019, the Financial Stability Board (FSB) invited international financial institutions to complete an online survey disclosing chosen effective practices adopted to manage and recover from a cybersecurity incident. The information gathered across the global financial market will be used to create an industry “best practices toolkit” for financial institutions and national supervisory authorities.

The FSB will also review relevant publicly available documents on how companies have responded to past cyber-attacks, as well as existing guidance issued by national and international authorities, to complete the proposed toolkit.

The survey will close on August 28, 2019.
