Article 29 Working Party Issues Data Protection Impact Assessment Guidelines Under GDPR

The Article 29 Data Protection Working Party (WP29) has announced a public consultation on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidelines on data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), which will be open “for 6 weeks before their final adoption”.

Latest update: October 16, 2017: The Article 29 Data Protection Working Party adopted the final version of the Data Protection Impact Assessment Guidelines on October 4, 2017, after having examined the comments received during the public consultation which ended on May 23, 2017. The final version of the guidelines was published on October 16, 2017.
