On December 13, 2016, the Article 29 Data Protection Working Party (WP29) adopted various General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidelines and FAQs on the right to data portability, data protection officers and the lead supervisory Authority.
According to the Article 29 Data Protection Working Party, “the production of these guidelines was facilitated by the full cooperation and inputs of different stakeholders, in particular through the Fablab organised by the WP29 in July 2016 and the national consultations put in place by some DPAs”.
The Article 29 Data Protection Working Party stated that the “guidelines on Data Protection Impact Assessments and Certification will be ready in 2017”.
The deadline was extended to February 15, 2017.
