UK Regulators Talk Tough On De-Risking

UK regulators have vowed to name and shame banks that unfairly refuse to provide account services to payment firms, and could even impose financial penalties on offenders.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR) on Tuesday outlined their approach to supervising bank account access for payment providers under the incoming revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2).
