PSD2: Third-Party Providers Face Trust Issues In Poland

Third-party providers (TPPs) face an uphill struggle for adoption in Poland, researchers have suggested, with incumbents more concerned about the threat posed by technology giants and rival banks than by smaller fintechs.

A study into open banking carried out by KPMG found that 78 percent of Polish consumers would be happy to entrust their money to the banking sector, compared with just 2 percent to technology firms other than Google and Apple.
