A European fintech lobby group has set out a series of requirements it expects banks’ interfaces to meet when providing services to third parties, ahead of the second API Evaluation Group meeting.
The Future of European Fintech Alliance, which is backed by dozens of EU-based financial firms, said it still feared some banking groups would use the development of application programming interfaces (APIs) to restrict services offered by newly authorised third-party providers.
