PSD2: Banks Pushed To Heed API Evaluation Group Work

European banking groups are encouraged to take on board conclusions reached by the Brussels-based API Evaluation Group, even if some of its recommendations are not based on legal requirements.

The group, which launched in January and comprises representatives from banks, third-party providers, retailers and — in a monitoring capacity — regulators, published its long-awaited list of recommendations earlier this month.
