Europe’s top banking and payments regulator will lead a new working group to support firms developing application programming interfaces (APIs) in line with “demanding” third-party access rules.
The European Banking Authority (EBA) opened the application process to join the group on Friday last week. Although the regulator will chair the group, and other EU and national-level authorities will partake, it is seeking experienced and knowledgeable representatives from across the industry.
