Poland’s financial regulator will delay enforcement of new strong customer authentication (SCA) rules and is happy to await further clarity on timings from Europe — even if nothing is issued until after September’s deadline.
The Financial Supervision Authority (KNF), the authority responsible for overseeing banking and payment services in the country, confirmed the delay on Monday and added it would be applied to contactless transactions as well as online card payments.
