Norwegian Court Backs Controversial Payment Blocking Regime

Offshore gambling and payments companies have suffered another setback in their rolling battle to defeat the Norwegian government’s payment blocking campaign.

On Friday, the Oslo District Court ruled against an attempt by Malta-based payments provider Entercash and the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) to have prohibitions on offshore gambling transactions quashed.
