ICO Tackles Consent 'Myths' Ahead Of GDPR Implementation

The UK privacy watchdog has released its final guide to consent under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), two weeks ahead of the extensive EU reforms entering into full force.

The detailed guidance, which was published by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) last week, attempts to tackle misinformation around consent rules for processing personal data, which will apply from May 25.
