EBA Takes Technical Standards Battle To Commission

The head of the European Banking Authority (EBA) has written to EU lawmakers with concerns about the final text of security rules under the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2).

The regulatory technical standards on strong customer authentication were adopted by the European Commission in November, after months of delays and persistent disputes, and are now awaiting approval from the European Parliament and Council.
