Dutch PSD2 Bill ‘Could Still Clash’ With Data Protection Reforms

The Netherlands has finally submitted a bill to parliament that would implement the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2), but experts are braced for further conflict with the country’s data protection regulator.

Member states are required to transpose the directive into national law by January, but the Dutch Ministry of Finance has already confirmed that is unlikely to take place until June next year at the earliest.
