The Netherlands is inching closer to implementing the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2), after lawmakers tweaked the draft transposition law to give authority over data processing provisions to the privacy regulator.
Although a draft text was submitted to parliament in October last year, it was not until last week that a series of amendments tabled by the Ministry of Finance were sent to the House of Representatives.
