Denmark Doubles Down On Strong Authentication Deadline

Denmarkâs financial authority has told firms to expect strong authentication reforms to take full effect from September, despite concerns across Europe that the industry is nowhere near full readiness.
Industry and retail groups have been pushing authorities for a delay or transition period for the reforms, which are set out in regulatory technical standards accompanying the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2).
