Brexit 'Crisis' Leaving Financial Firms In the Lurch

Payments and e-money institutions in the UK have been left in the lurch by the political impasse over Brexit and the looming possibility of exiting the EU without a negotiated agreement, according to industry players.

The UK is slated to leave the bloc on March 29 and hostility in parliament to Prime Minister Theresa May’s withdrawal agreement and Brussels’ refusal to throw the government a bone has boosted the chances of a “hard Brexit”.
