‘Fifth’ AMLD Talks Stall As Ownership Dispute Rumbles On

EU lawmakers have again been unable to reach an agreement on amendments to the 4th Anti-Money Laundering Directive (4th AMLD).

The European Commission, Parliament and Council had hoped “trilogue” negotiations on the amendments would be concluded by the end of June, but now are attempting to persuade the incoming Estonian presidency to arrange further discussions.
